Born to an noble family in her home country of Couland (Pronounced 'cool-and', not 'coo-land'), Alexandria is a product of her upbringing, making her into the ideal Coulish woman; intelligent, fit, able to lead and follow and yet still willing to let whomever she marries take the lead.
It is common in Couland for the husband to lead the household and his wife to be his servant and aide; attending to his needs and carrying out his tasks. This does not, however, mean they are incapable of leading if need be and calling out their husbands on poor choices and decisions. They are as much a guide as a helper.

She is a very skilled fencer, ranked the highest in her school and placed fourth in the last national tournament. While the country is not at war the nobles of Couland are expected to asst the country in times of strife, giving supplies, solders hired from their lands and assistance. In addition she is expected to be able to defend her future husband. Her most treasured possession is Serenity, her sword that she received from her father before he passed on.

As such she attends the finest private school in Couland; The Royal Enlightenment Academy, often called 'REA' for short. While she does perform lower in math and sciences (Still good, but not at the top of her class) she excels in art, music, history and gym.

Until then she applies herself to her studies, family and sport until she stumbles across the right man on her own or her mother finds a good man. After all, what doubt should she have in her mother's ability to choose a husband for her? Of course Couland still has rights, and she cannot be forced to wed against her will. But if they pass her mother's tests, then she should expect him to be a good man.

Couland is a fictional, European styled country, meant to be located south west of Portugal. It is roughly 32,000 square miles in size (Somewhat smaller then Ireland) and is ruled over by a King and assisted by the Queen. Under them is a council of ten elected officials called Court Wardens who have the power to veto the King if all ten Wardens decide to do so. If this happens the King is removed from power and the Queen rules until such a time as a new King is chosen, although the Wardens in turn must surrender their positions for life to ten more elected Wardens. Assisting the King are the nobles, all of whom bear the title Lord or Lady. While there is the First Lord, currently Lord Eric of the Griffinwing family, all the Lords and Ladies are considered equals to each other, with the First Lord responsible for being a mouth piece for them all, and the one who speaks to the King on their behalf. Under each Noble family are the elected officials of the towns, villages and cities they help govern. Most day to day decisions are decided by these officals, unless the local noble passes a law, decree or order. In turn these officials have bi-monthly meetings with the King to ensure he knows how well the nobles are ruling them, or abusing them. Thus far the system has worked, the Monarchy ruling and providing while the commoners serve and protect. While there are some frictions within the country, for the most part poverty, unemployment and crime are low, but not unheard of. Couland maintains strong ties with Britain, Germany (Post World War Two), France, America, Canada and Greece. They are on good terms with every other European power, as well as Israel, Japan, South Korea and Australia. They are, however, critics of North Korea, China, Iran and, more recently, Russia. While well trained and equipped, their military is not very large. To offset this they instituted the Militia Armaments Act in 1897; at sixteen all able bodied men must spend the weekends at military camps for six months, (With an option to remain there for two months straight instead) to receive military training. In addition all noblemen must receive officer's training. Each village, town and city maintains one or several armories with weapon stockpiles. This means that if attacked Couland can raise a substantial army in little time. They remained out of World War One, but were forced to defend themselves from German and Italian attacks in World War Two. Despite considerable damage to the east coastline and towns, The Royal Coulish Armed Forces was able to hold off the German & Italian attacks. However they were close to exhausting their resources until the Russian army began their counter-attack. At that point German commanders pulled out of Couland to send their men eastward to fight the incoming Soviet army. Despite the damage done, Couland offered what air, naval and ground support they could. Most of their contributions were to hold and patrol taken territory, but two of their units were at the front lines. After the war, Couland focused on rebuilding itself, and integrating refugees who fled there during the German advance, but had no where else to go. Ethnically speaking most Coulish people are Caucasian. Blonde hair is common, and purples eyes occur more often in Couland then other places earning them the nickname 'Royals' among other peoples due to purple's association with royalty. There are some people of African, Indian and Asian decent, but these are minorities. Couland's offical policy on minorities is simple; let them be themselves. The idea is that they will come to embrace Couland culture on their own, or their children will. In the meantime, Couland will reap benefits from the new ideas and items these peoples bring. Couland culture focuses a lot on the wife being submissive to her husband which has earned them ridicule, criticism and scorn from feminist organizations from around the world. They claim that Couland has fewer rights for women and point to Baring Day as evidence that they oppress women as well as the marrying age (13). In fact, women have the right to vote (1824), hold land in their name (1818), become a publicly elected official (1901, first female official in 1912), abort pregnancies (1923), hold any job (Exception being front-line military troops; fighting in defense and acting as military support is acceptable) and may even lead households (Normally after the death of the leading male, but some woman overshadow their husbands which is considered unusual, but not unacceptable). In turn, Couland views most feminist organizations as ignorant of Couland culture (A vote to end Baring Day was made in 1977. 92% of the population voted to keep it. 84% of the women who voted voted to keep it), or simply unhappy with their own lives. The official stance on them is 'Let them yell if it makes them happy, we're allowed to do as we always have'. One such group came to protest in front of the Couland Royal Palace in September of 1999. Most women of Couland, in turn, spent most of the group's trip in the nude to the feminist confusion. While not a powerhouse in terms of economy, Couland is stable and has not, in it's recorded history, had a major recession or financial crisis. Their official form of currency is Metal Leaf, often just called Leaf., each bill coming in a different color. The bills come in denominations of 1 Leaf (Green), 5 Leaves (Blue), 10 Leaves (Purple) 20 Leaves (Bronze) 50 Leaves (Silver), 100 Leaves (Gold) and 500 Leaves (Platinum with Gold Trim). In addition there are also coins representing part of a Leaf called Mints. They come in 1 Mint copper coins, 5 Mint nickle coins, 10 Mint nickle coins, 25 Mint silver plated nickle coins and 50 Mint gold plated coins. The Leaf is symbolized by an uppercase 'L' in a triangle and the Mint by a lowercase 'm' in a square. Currently, in relation, 1 Leaf is equal to 0.98 US Dollars. Please, do not call me up and say just 'Hi' or 'Hello'. At least add in 'How are you?', 'Are you busy?' or something else so I know your not just randomly poking thirty people in hopes of getting a response. Also, do not start with a post. While you should have an idea of what you want to do, and you should have roles and scenes ready, and I would like to talk them out first. In addition, do not ask me to be your babysitter, tutor, girl at a diner or any role that is against the character. I will ignore you outright. And yes, that has happened to me. Repeatedly. And while we're on the subject of things you shouldn't do, do not start by groping at me, spanking me, talking down to me, or being rude in general. Just no. Maybe in the RP, not not before then. Read the profile before getting too carried away. While I don't expect you to read everything, at least get through the first bit. Get an idea of who my character is, and what her personality is. I prefer semi-para in post length. Too short and it looks boring, too long and it seems to take forever to get anywhere due to the time between posts. If you can do better then semi-para, however, I won't stop you. One liners are acceptable... So long as it's appropriate at the time and not overdone such as a request for more information or waiting for something I'm doing. Most of the time, however, I want the other person to be as active in the RP as I am. I am not a stickler for grammar, but I do expect at least a decent level of spelling, punctuation and grammar. I do make mistakes myself, and I will ask forgiveness for such times, but try do be at least High School level. No text talk (Unless your character is texting), remember to capitalize, make sure I know the difference between what your character is saying and what he is doing and make sure I know what's going on. Things get mixed up time to time, but some level of idea is nice. This is not hard to do. I would prefer the RP take place within my own setting (Couland). If you have another setting you want (Alexandria comes to America, pulled into another world, ect, ect, ect) then it must make sense with Alexandria's character. She needs to have a reason to go there (Or an explanation as to how she ended up there) and not just 'you meet in a bar'. Also, Alexandria in not a slave. She is a submissive, but she's not a slave; she is a servant to her husband/husband to be. She can refuse to do things, question her husband's logic and act of her own initiative. She is a person, not a toy or object. That does not mean she's unwilling to engage in some BDSM and such play as bondage, collar and leashes, so on and so forth, but if she says stop she expects things to stop. Have fun. Hopefully with me.
